Programme / About the Programme / Project life cycle at a glance

Project life cycle at a glance

The process from applying to stepping towards the real project life cycle consists of several important milestones that are described below.

Project idea

Start by identifying if your idea matches the programme goals.
Every project should be based on a well-defined need for cross-border cooperation and contribute to one of the Programme Objectives as well as result indicators.

Step 1

Submit a light application form online. The first step in the application process focuses on your project’s concept.

Step 2

Submit a full application form. You have to demonstrate that you can achieve the change in an economic, efficient and effective manner.

Contracting

If approved, you will sign a subsidy contract. The actual starting and ending dates of your project will be defined in the contracting phase.

Implementation

Once your contracting phase is over, the real work with implementing your project starts.

Closure

Evaluate if your project has been successful and ensure the sustainability of your project achievements. Simply put: public funding means public results. Your project should bring long-lasting effects to the Central Baltic territory.
